Mr. Ngwu Anthony E. was born on the 12th June 1963 at Alagomeji, Yaba Lagos, to the family of nine children of which he is the 6th child of Late Mr. & Mrs. Ngwu Victor Magbo.He had his Primary Education at St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Yaba, between 1971 – 1975. He attended Eke High School, Eke in Enugu between 1976-1981. In 1982, he joined Nigeria Railway Corporation, Ebute-Metta, Lagos as a Clerical Officer, because of his love for football, he joined the Railway Football Club in 1986. Within 2 months of his joining the team, he was made the captain. He later joined the professional side of the football team where he played and rose to the post of the welfare officer/player until the team was disbanded in 1996 August 31st.In quest to pursue his education, he got an Admission to study Law at University of Lagos, Akoka in 1999-2000 session, a programme he could have completed within time, but because of his work with Nigeria Railway Corporation he deferred his admission, but later retired in 2005 August 31st for continuation of his education.He got enrolled at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja Campus in 2008-2009 sessions. He was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria on the 3rd November, 2009.He had a brief stint in his career in the Legal Profession as a counsel in the Chambers of Chief George O. Nnachor & Co. Lagos State. On the 15th February, 2010, he joined the Chambers of Agabi, Shinaba, Ogon & Co. as a Counsel, a place he enjoyed working.He is married with children, he is Practicing Roman Catholic, loves football, plays scrabble, likes watching films, likes cooking.
