MGBEREOMA ODUENYI WAYO is a senior counsel in the law firm of Agabi, Shinaba, Ogon & Co. She graduated from University of Lagos, Akoka where
she obtained her LLB in 1997 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999.Mgbereoma fondly called Roma, worked with the firm of Messrs Kehinde Sofola & Co for a few years before joining the Firm, Agabi, Shinaba, Ogon & Co. Roma, has extreme experience in all aspects of litigation and corporate practice. She
has engaged in litigating various matters covering several areas of law at various levels of Courts in Nigeria and rendered advice on all aspects of Intellectual Property Law as well as Property law. In the course of her practice, she has advised on several major transactions such  as due diligence in respect of the merger between former Citizens
International Bank Plc and Guardian Express Bank Plc, ACD International Bank Plc, OMEGA Bank Plc, Fountain Trust Bank Plc and Trans International Bank Plc.
She is also engaged in other legal works which include the provision of Legal and Advisory Services on matters of Board and Shareholders Meetings, filing of requisite Returns at the relevant Regulatory Agencies and Social Responsibility issues, assisting Clients in the incorporation and administration of Corporations, registration and general prosecution of trademarks, patent and designs etc. 
Roma is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association and also of International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Nigeria.
